I just purchased an HP Windows 10 laptop. I cannot disable the auto password login. I searched the internet and I know what needs to be done. The problem is that I do not have an option to uncheck “User Name and Passwords under “User Account” I called a tech support specialist at HP and he agreed that I have no option to disable auto login.

He did not have a work around to fix this problem. I checked with 2 other people who I know have windows 10 and they have an option to uncheck “User Name and Passwords under “User Account” Any information would be appreciated. This thread is locked.

I logged into a machine as local admin and configured autologon with non-admin user credentials. I then rebooted the machine. After reboot, the machine was logged in as the non-admin user and all desktop explorer.
